Radial Insertion Machine
Up to 18,000 CPH vertical radial insertion — the workhorse of a THT-automated EMS line
Inline flux removal and offline solder-pallet cleaning for lead-free, no-clean and conformal-coat lines
| PCBA width | Up to 350 mm (SME-350MB) |
|---|---|
| Process | Wash – rinse – dry, closed loop |
| Rinse monitoring | Inline conductivity control |
| Fixture capacity | SME-5200: 80 L tray, up to 450 mm fixtures |
| Chemistry | Water-based or semi-aqueous, customer specified |
| Cycle time | 3–8 min depending on load and chemistry |
| Interface | SMEMA inline (350MB) |
| Power | 3-phase AC 380 V, heated tanks |
Two cleaning jobs, two machines. The SME-350MB removes flux residue from finished PCBAs inline after reflow or wave soldering. The SME-5200 strips accumulated flux and carbonised residue off wave soldering pallets and reflow fixtures — the maintenance task that quietly destroys solder yield when skipped.
